Willow Mercantile has been a Cadillac staple for the last 10 years. Now, its new owners are bringing a barbecue flare. Willow is now home to Primos Barbeque.
Two cousins, Jason Towers and Mike Yount, took their love for backyard barbecuing and made it their business. They first started off as food truck and then quickly grew into their first brick and mortar in west Cadillac.
After two years in their first location, the owners decided they wanted to be closer into town. Two weeks ago they gained ownership of Willow Mercantile and moved Primos Barbecue inside.
Everything people love about Willow isn’t going away like the produce and the wide ranging wine and beer section. However, the new owners added a growler filling station with unique beer and cider on tap. Now people can find great barbecue closer to downtown Cadillac.
